If you are required to register due to a sexual offense, you must do so annually.
What you need to Register
If you are required to register in Massachusetts, you must register with the state sex offender registry every year; unless you are homeless, then you must register monthly. Depending on your level, you will need to either mail your registration information to the registry board, or go to your local police department in person to update it.
If you are an Unclassified or Level 1 offender, you will need to complete the Sex Offender Registration Form.
If you are a Level 2 or 3 offender, you will need to visit your local police department to update your information.

How to Register
By mail
If you are an Unclassified or Level 1 offender, you must mail your completed registration form to the Sex Offender Registry Board at:

Level 2 and 3 offenders cannot register through the mail.
If you are a Level 2 or 3 offender, you must register your updated information with the police department of your Massachusetts residential address.
If you do not reside in Massachusetts, register in the city or town police department of your employment, school, or secondary address in Massachusetts.
