The Baystate Reentry Network is a dedicated group of volunteers helping individuals and families involved with the legal system successfully navigate the transition back into the community upon release from incarceration after a sexual offense conviction.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our program connects returning citizens with mentors who have similar backgrounds navigate a successful return to the community after involvement in the criminal legal system. This shared life experience uniquely positions our mentors to credibly relate to program participants and fosters trust and accountability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

With a client-driven approach, our volunteers engage participants to establish trusting relationships and facilitate a path forward based on an individual\u2019s needs. Our volunteers assist with pre-release planning, help returning citizens establish community supports, and work with their families to prepare for a participant\u2019s return.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Baystate Reentry Network has four key programs in place that provide goods, services, and\/or funds to returning citizens who we consider to be our clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For clients, case managers, and correctional program officers, we provide services on the day of release and subsequent days after release to ensure a smooth transition out of a facility and successful re-entry into society. These services are provided at no charge and are intended to facilitate a stress-free experience for the institution and our client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For legal counsel and social service providers, we provide pre-release services such as court testimony regarding our services and release planning assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
