BRN can provide some suggested housing options but housing of some kind must be confirmed prior to submitting the Release Questionnaire. Acceptance of a client is at the discretion of BRN.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left; color: red;\">A confirmation email will be sent when the release questionnaire is received. It should <strong>not<\/strong> be presumed that the questionnaire was received unless a confirmation email was received.<\/h3>\r\n<center>\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-button__link has-base-2-color has-accent-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size has-custom-font-size wp-element-button;\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-base-2-color has-accent-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color has-medium-font-size has-custom-font-size wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/baystatereentrynetwork.org\/index.php\/release-questionnaire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Release Questionnaire<\/a><\/div>\r\n<!-- \/wp:post-content --><\/center>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Special note:<\/strong> <em>We are not able to assist parolees unless permission is granted to allow association with other felons.<\/em><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">* * *\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} -->\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Services listed below will be provided for up to <u>six months<\/u> from the date of release.<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:heading -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n<p>On the day of release:<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:list -->\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Pick-up<\/strong> the person being released from the facility and transport them to their pre-arrange housing.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Contact<\/strong>\u00a0the proper registry officer and set up an appointment for the person to register with the SORB.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Transport\u00a0<\/strong>the person to the proper probation department to be fitted with a GPS unit, if required.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Coordinate<\/strong>\u00a0with your property officer to set an acceptable time and date to pick-up the person\u2019s property.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Assist<\/strong>\u00a0with setting-up a bank account, if necessary.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Facilitate<\/strong> entry to the shelter, if pre-arranged.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Introduce<\/strong>\u00a0them to their support team.<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>FREE<\/strong> items provided:\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Smart phone with six months of free service<\/li>\r\n<li>Large backpack<\/li>\r\n<li>$50 Charlie Card (or equivalent) upon request<\/li>\r\n<li>Lunch (or just a darn good cup of coffee.)<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<!-- \/wp:list -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:paragraph -->\r\n<p>The following days:<\/p>\r\n<!-- \/wp:paragraph -->\r\n\r\n<!-- wp:list -->\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Help them activate their MassHealth.<\/li>\r\n<li>Set up medical appointments.<\/li>\r\n<li>Help them apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP.)<\/li>\r\n<li>Help them apply for additional benefits they may be eligible for.<\/li>\r\n<li>Develop a realistic release plan in order to better facilitate their reintegration to the community.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To request the services of BRN, our Release Questionnaire must be submitted at least one week in advance prior to a release date.
